Today while cleaning my home I am listening to hymns sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. it is beautiful. I absolutely Love listening to hymns...I always feel the Spirit in my home while playing them. My absolute all time Favorite hymn is The Spirit of God. I can NOT listen to this song without tearing up a little bit. What a beautiful song, I have always been fond of it, but honestly, who doesn't love this song? :)
The Spirit of God like a fire is burning;
The latter day glory begins to come forth;
The visions and blessings of old are returning;
The angels are coming to visit the earth.

That is one of my favorites too. I can always feel the spirit during it. The best is when it is sung at temple dedications.
I love that hymn! And I am also guaranteed wrecked mascara when I hear or sing 'I know that my Redeemer lives'. Never in my life have I got through that one with dry eyes, whew! I have a Mormon Tabernacle Choir CD in my car at all times. Savannah swears I must be the only person on earth that rocks out to the MTChoir... I just so love it played loud...probably because I can not hear myself singing along, grin.
Girl! I love that song too... I think that's one of the most tear-wrenching songs and its always
played in movies about Joseph Smith. Usually at the end when he's turning himself in, knowing that he's going to his death... I can't help but cry Every. Single. Time.
That song always touches my heart too. I love the MOTAB cds. I always play them in the house on Sundays, they make me feel happy.
One of my favorites also! "I Need Thee Every Hour" and "O My Father" also my favorite MOTAB numbers!
