Tomorrow Little Man will be 8 whole weeks old! He already weighs a little over 13 pounds now and even though I'd like to deny it, has pretty much already outgrown his 0-3 month outfits. The most exciting news in Mommyhood for me lately is Deacon has started to SMILE at me. Not the regular Im-about-to-fall-asleep smiles, but ON PURPOSE smiles while i'm talking to him. It absolutely melts my heart.
I never did really post about my first Mothers Day. Dusty surprised me with a The Vintage Pearl necklace with "deacon" written across the heart. I LOVE it (and hinted for days how bad i wanted it hehe). And since when did the ward stop giving flowers to the Mommy's? I was so looking forward to it and they didn't do it this year haha.

13 pounds?? Addie was 14 pounds at her 15 month check up, lol (but she definitely needed some plumping)! He's getting so big! Love your necklace! And we get costco cake now instead of flowers. :p Yuck!
Loving the side ponytail! I was so disappointed to miss the party. Hope you had fun!!
