I just Love it.
I was reading online a review of my favorite book EVER, The Giving Tree. One review stated that some people Love or Hate the book. Intrigued at how someone could ever hate this book i kept reading that some people think the Tree is a "masochistic female who doesn't set limits". Shocking!? Why do I care so much about a children's book anyway? Because it is the best book ever. I feel like it is the most heart-wrenchingly sweet and most realistic sense of a mothers love I have ever read. I cry reading it Every. Single. Time. I love it Deeply! I want to be that Tree for Deacon. The tree's selfless love for the boy is Beautiful and .... Perfect.

We love this book in our home too! Grant had it memorized when he was only 2! I have used it in lessons at church before too...looove it! Thanks for reminding me to get it out and read it again :)
I watched that whole little video of it. How can someone not understand what that's about? Maybe their "tree" wasn't as kind to them as a boy. You'll be a great Giving Tree.
