Reminiscing and Good Morning

Don't you love hearing a song, that really just brings you back? Last night Dusty played Stay with Me by Josh Gracin and Holy Crow did it bring me BACK exactly where I was when I used to listen to this song. Back to my old Teal Mobile going to pick up Hannah and get on our way to Seminary. It reminds me of working at The Disney Store, and I remember it being fall time. Isn't it funny how a song can bring back such vivid memories? I sure love that song.



Now let me just tell you about my morning. Normally, I wake up feeling great. I almost even text Dusty and say "I FEEL GREAT!". But when i start to blow dry my hair, The sweating and that feeling like I can't catch my breath starts and instead i send an "OH NO I FEEL TERRIBLE" text. And leave for work with no breakfast. BUT. This morning was different. I woke up, feeling good... immediately went and ate TWO-count em- TWO toaster strudels..my hair was decent enough to not have to wash and blow dry. My 'fat' jeans were nice and clean and ready to wear. Since the above mentioned song was on my mind i thought, I Must find the old high school CD that has this song on it, so I go to leave for work early. Outside my front door is a lovely surprise from Jessica Marsaw and i sure loved it. (thank you jessica!) I get to my car, and in my giant stack of old UNLABELED cd's.... I start to pop them into my player.. the FIRST cd i chose, the FIRST song.. is THE song i wanted :) What are the ODDS of that!?!? I mean come on!! What a good start to my morning :)
