Showing

As soon as I became pregnant, one of the first things I was looking forward to was SHOWING. Alot of my Momma friends told me that with their first pregnancy, they didn't even start to show until about 4 months. And i was disappointed.. and have been counting the days until someone can look at me and TELL. Today I am 11 weeks pregnant, and i SWEAR i have an obvious baby bump. Why am I showing so early? Why do I all of a sudden feel like I don't want to show for a little while yet? But at the same time LOVE it when someone at work says "Aw, I can see your little bump when you stand like that". Ha! Today I will make my first, hesitant trip to Motherhood Maternity to buy some *gulp* maternity pants. After i eat lunch, it is all I can do to keep myself from unbuttoning my jeans and letting my stomach fly out. IT IS TIME.
