2010 already?

Wow is this really my first post of the new year? Eleven days into it? yeesh. What a slacker. Sorry! We brought in the new year in our old familiar traditional way! Half our usual gang was either working or sicky so it was a smaller party but, still a party nonetheless!

Me and Jess kept in the kitchen most of the evening preparing yummy snacks and such..


And taking a classic picture for tradition's sake!

Heres the boys playing video games in the living room. And why, YES! We DID get a new couch for Christmas!! Lovely, no? And Dusty got me that totally divine rocker in the corner.

In other news.... I cleaned out my storage closet. Check it out before:

YIKES. I think i'll actually use it for food storage like i'd wanted to all along now. I forgot to take an AFTER picture but.. just imagine it without all the junk and thats what it looks like :)

In other OTHER news, I ate a really yummy lunch the other day. And it was so yummy looking i decided to share it with you. Why? I don't know. But you KNOW you are craving a BLT now..

And this past weekend, the Dogs were being lazy on my bed and i thought they were sweet.

Ellie even decided to whisper some sweet nothings into Gussy's ear, aww.

More like, she always licks his ear. it drives me insane. I HATE the sound it makes. Imagine the grosses slurping licking noise possible, thats what it sounds like. Yuck!
