Wow, 28 weeks down so far! It really is going by fast, Thank Goodness. I don't think my patience level can handle a really slow moving pregnancy. I'm such a complainer, no? :) At least i AM pregnant. Even if I feel super fat and depressed sometimes. At least i AM..
At 28 weeks I can feel strong movements from the baby. No longer are they the quick tapping, but more of a stern swipe across my belly, or poking coming from opposite sides of my gut..even a S T R E T C H here and there where I can feel the little foot sticking out by my belly button and I gasp and say out loud 'oh my goodness!'
The baby plays the SHY card when Dusty tries to feel his kicks. I'll proclaim that the baby is having a party in my tummy, put Dustys hand on it, and maybe a tiny shiver does the baby produce but thats it. And Dusty is left a wee bit disappointed. Actually I'm not sure if he is, but I would be! Early this morning I felt restless laying in bed, as usual. I could feel the baby doing what felt like somersaults and cheerleading in my tummy, so i quietly reached over and drug Dustys hand across my giant belly and left it there. I could feel Dustys hand tighten around my stomach as the baby violently punched the daylights out of his hand. Not just that, but where his arm was laying across it, i could feel the baby kicking on the other side of my belly on his arm too! We just lay there silently enjoying the kicking for quite a while until the baby stopped.. i got uncomfortable..and rolled over.. and we drifted back off to s l e e p...

Please, can I adopt YOUR definition of "super fat"? You look incredible, really. I miss seeing you at all our YW stuff!
Jessica i miss seeing u too. And honestly, I'll have to post about my visit with the Nurse Practitioner today who basically confirmed that 'super fat' comment. haha!
28 weeks!?! Wow! I can not imagine you in a "super fat" state even preggers. ;)
Baby movements are the best parts about pregnancy. I loved pushing on my belly and the baby pushing back. So sweet!
Girl, there is no way on this earth that YOU could be "super fat". Didn't Hannah tell you how much I gained and nobody knew it cause I didn't look it. So even if you have already gained more than the "recommended", if you are healthy then your body knows what it is doing :)
That's what I'm saying. This nurse today was pretty adament on the 'correct' poundage being 25 max. It crushed my soul basically ha
excuse me! if that nurse told you 25 is the MAX, she is WRONG!!! Actually, the MINIMUM is 25! 25-35 lbs is the normal range. With Taylor, I gained at least 35 lbs, and NOBODY told me I was super fat! PLEASE don't be depressed.. I know we get critical of our bodies, especially when we're pregnant because our bodies go through so much change so quickly, but you are BEA-U-TIFUL!
Also, yes, feeling the baby move is the best part of pregnancy, but I know at the end it gets to where it's no longer fun anymore either. Both of mine would do what you're describing. They would just scrape their foot (or whatever body part) all the way across my stomach, and it would HURT! So, don't feel bad if you don't think it's fun anymore! ;-)
Do you know how your new doc feels about inducing? I was always REA-DY as soon as I hit full term (38 weeks)!
