Dinner: solved!

Well, yesterday was a good day! It rained really hard while I was at work, and I loved watching it out my window. Dusty sent me the same text he does everyday around 3.. "whats for dinner!" Since I got no picky-eater recipes from anyone ;) I tried to think of something and I came up with Chicken Parmigan! I bought all teh ingredients after work and started cookin! It actually turned out.. VERY good!! I was very..impressed with ymself haha. Dusty said it was his favorite meal so far i make haha. It made me happy :) I was reading over Hope's 101-200 childhood memories and I enjoy so much reading about peoples lives! Maybe i'll do another one.. just for childhood memories! I think that'll be fun. I wish I had more pictures for you guys... I'll have to bring my camera cable to work with me...

Dinner!

Okay. Now I am not a good cook at all. Growing up, my mom and especially my dad were the most awesome cooks in the world (to me!). When I got married, my dad made me a big book of all of the family recipes. And i couldn't WAIT to share all of them with Dusty! Well, Dusty is very picky. Just about every single delicious meal has at least 1 thing in it that dusty wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. So, I had my mom over last night to try and help me make mashed potatoes and a rotiserie chicken with carrots on the side! Guess what? He actually ate some!!! He didn't like the carrots though, he said they tasted too sweet. Although he did say "But if I liked sweet carrots, i'm sure they'd be the best!" Dusty even made a comment saying he was excited to bring the left overs to work with him today. He said that all of the other men at work bring leftovers their wives cook them and now he'll finally have some haha. I felt kinda bad because he always packs his own lunch for work and it consists of Gummi Worms, Bubble Gum, and Sunflower seeds lol. I need to get to it and find some simple recipes to make for lunch/dinner that my hard workin husband can actually enjoy and eat! Does anyone have any picky-eater recipes for me?!

I'm a newbie!

Hey! Well, I can't keep coming on here just to read Mandi, Dana and Alisha's blogs all the time without having one for myself anymore haha. Mandi had suggested I start one but I thought, well everyone on here has children that they show cutie pictures of! I don't have any yet so mine will be boring. BUT! I do have a puppy who me and dusty treat like our own daughter haha. (or i do at least) :) But let me introduce myself a little bit... My name is Stefanie Hess, I was just recently married to Dusty Hess about 3 or so weeks ago. We have a cute puppy named Ellie who is 8 months old, and we reside in Madison! I work as a receptionist at Adam's homes and my husband works at Nucor Steel Mill in Decatur. I'll try to put some pictures on here! :)
