10 Years Ago: I was only 8 haha. I really don't know what i was doing then. I feel like my life in Bama didn't really start til Hannah moved here when i was 9 haha. So 10 years ago, i was just a kid doing nothing and going to school haha

On My To-Do List: Ugh. laundry laundry and more laundry. Dishes. Call the fence people. Clean the ink out of the carpet. Move the christmas tree box from the middle of the stairs to Upstairs. train my dog. Make a dentist appointment, Make an eye doctor appointment. Make my hair appointment..... so much to doooo!!!

5 places that I've lived: I've only lived in 3 different houses. In Newburgh, NY... my parents here in Madtown, and in me and Dusty's house in Madtown!

5 jobs I have had: Buffalo's Cafe (hated this job with a passion), The Disney Store!, Amy's Hallmark, Adams Homes! Thats all i've had haha But i know my next job'll be stay at home mommy. That counts right?

Bad habits: Procrastination.

Things people don't know about me: Umm, i have HORRIBLE eye sight. Without my contacts, I'm basically blind! I used to never EVER never ever want to have children. I'm an impulse buyer to the extreme. i LOVE to drive....

Date night, and Hot Dog!

I'll start off by saying me and Dusty's day off together was very nice :) Saturda morning we slept in then got ready and went to the mall. We did some shopping and decided to go to lunch. We thought we'd go to Rosies because i LOVE Rosies plus, we have a gift card ;). SO we go to Rosies and there is a 25 minute wait. Not too bad. But we are impatient. So we left and thought HEY, let's go to that new Five Guys Burger place. But we couldn't find it. So after we finally find it, we walk in and the place is PACKED. So, of course, we leave and walk a little ways to Quizno's. I usually really like quizno's, but this time.. yikes. So we walk in and all the employees are all willy nilly just hanging out. And the girl who is making my sandwich picks up the pile of Turkey and puts it on the scale. The turkey (i kid you not) had like SNOT like GOOP dripping from the turkey and was all over the scale and turkey now. Even the girl said "EW, gross i do NOT know what that was..." So she threw the turkey away and reached into a new bin of Turkey.. with teh same goopy glove....on the SAME GOOPY SCALE! i watched in disgust and she kept making the sandwich. And i am Shy. I didn't say anything but I kept giving Dusty the "I wanna leave" look. So after our sandwiches were done we sat down and i told him about the goop. By then it was a huge deal because i hadn't told them earlier and now i didnt' want the sandwich. So we spent $15 bucks for these sandwiches and just got up, threw them away, and left. Me and Dusty were both in a mood then haha. So, we took our hungry selves to good ol cheeburger cheeburger. WHich was yummy :) All that for a burger and fries. Then Sunday Dusty had really bad stomach pains and we couldn't decided whether to take him to Urgent Care or to just wait it out or what. So we both stayed home from church. We thought he might have appendicitis or something. Quite scary.


Now, Get a load of my puppy. After this story, you will officially be SO glad she isn't your pup. OKay so Sunday as Dusty was all sickly laying in bed, I was laying by him watching tv. We'd been watching tv for a while, with no sight of Ellie in a couple minutes. So i got up and was calling her. And i walked into the living room to find THIS!!!!

Turns out, Ellie jumped up on the computer chair and got a black Ink Pen off of the desk and chewed it to PEICES all over one of our couch pillows. Then dug her grimy paws into all the ink and walked around the living room.

Oh these pictures don't do the real thing justice. When i first saw it, I saw my high heels under the desk and thought OMG ELLIE TORE UP MY SHOES! but Noooo.. she only Ruined the carpet haha. The worst part of it was, a couple weeks ago, i was going to post a blog about how me and my dad rented a carpet cleaner and cleaned ALL the carpet int he house. So, i picked up Ellie and put her in the tub upstairs. THe water was freezing so i turned it all the way to hot to let it warm up a little and left her in there while I went to get a wash cloth and some soap a (and my camera). SO i go back up there and she is cowering in the corner, lifting up her front paws. And i didn't even think anything of it. So i'm taking my time getting the things ready and i was about to snap a picture of her when i realize!.....

OH NO! The water is SCALDING hot. Poor baby girl. It was probably the saddest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. The bottom of her little paws where they used to have light pink spots were BRIGHT red. Ugh, i still feel horrible just thinking about it. Sad Sad Sad!!!! Maybe that taught her a lesson? Hopefully.

Poor girl. Notice the ink splatters on the wall and the dingy grey water. Our carpet is Still a mess, but the ink thankfully came off her paws easily. Probably because i burned it off of her. So Sad. so so so sad. So, that was my weekend! :)

Work Sucks.

So, for the past 2 weeks, I have probably got to spend about 1.3 days of time with my husband. I hate The Night Shift. I hate Non-Set schedules. I hate being home alone. Work lately has given me and dusty barely ANY time together. The only time I see Dusty ALL day, is when i come home from lunch break to take Ellie out, and I can see him sleeping. That's probably my favorite part of the day. So guess what? Dusty is off this saturday. the Whole day! And ya know what? I'm off too! This calls for a major date day/night. I am so excited!! I'll have to let ya know what we end up doing later. I just thought I'd share the excitement haha.

Sleepy Head Dusty

Today as I was coming home for lunch, I was trying to think of what to eat because just recently I decided to give Vegetarianism a shot. I was always very against vegetarianism and thought it was dumb. i LOVE meat. BUT, i also have an extreme soft spot for animals. After visiting Peta.com, i've decided to just try it out for at least a month and see what i think. This is harder than I thought! The first 2 days was SUPER easy. I even thought, Heck i'll just buy those Boca meatless burgers and eat em when i get a meat craving! Little did I know they taste like a mushy dirt patty. Yuck. Ew. Gross. So ANYWAY, back to lunch. I was driving home for lunch and I just thought i'll heat up some of that cheese pizza left over. Also, i really wanted some Grape Juice. Here's the thing, Dusty loves grape juice. I find grape flavored anything just, well, childish. Grape flavoring is Not for adults. But he loves it, so we buy it. So today i really did want some childish grape juice. I open the fridge to get my pizza and realize there is NO juice left! It has disappeared from the fridge. I know when i ate breakfast this morning, there was a full bottle. So i searched the garbage, looked on the countertops, looked in the living room.. no grape juice! So i just decided to skip out on the juice and have some good ol Ginger Ale. So i open our "Cabinet O' Plastic Goods" and this is what i saw....

Theres the plastic utensils shelf.... the paper plates shelf... the plastic cups shel... wait. Wait a Minute! THERE'S THE GRAPE JUICE!!!

Since Dusty works nights, he is TIRED when he gets home in the morning. My sleepy head husband must have taken out the grape juice, poured himself a nice tall glass and just shoved it in the plastic cups shelf without thinking twice. I thought that was sooo funny hahaha.

They Grow Up So Fast...

Today is my first daughters birthday :) Ellie Mae is 1! Time sure has flown. I can't believe we've had her since she was only 7 weeks old! So last night i baked her a cake for today and was TRYING to take some cute pictures of her....

All she wanted to do was chew on my slippers. Psh, she's a stinker..

I dunno what i'll get her...but hse has really been such a wonderful dog. Sorta. She has accidents in the house, and she chews up valuable things and makes our carpets dirty...But, she is sweet and Cute and I love her!!!

I miss '07!

So my beloved 2007 is gone! But it's okay, I can move on! Although no year will top 2007, I'm ready for the things 2008 will bring. In 2008 I hope to accomplish alot! I hope I can be good in my calling as the Valiant 11/12 girls teacher. I hope that I can keep my house clean ALL the time instead of always having either a REALLY clean house or a FILTHY house haha. I hope that me and Dusty can go on a vacation for our 1 year anniversary, and be sealed together for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. I'm sure it'll be a year full of my best friends weddings. I know i'll be welcoming a new little niece/nephew into the world this year as well! So really, 2008 doesn't sound so bad does it :) I have some pictures of my new years eve to post but i'm waiting for them to be e-mailed to me because they are at my sister in laws house! :) So i'll post them later!
So on New Years Day, me, jessica, and, hannah went to a movie. There was this movie i'd been wanting to see before the prievews for it even started to show. I read about it online and since i read it could NOT wait for it to come out. It was P.S. I Love You. Now i've told everyone my greatest fear before...and this movie... was about my greatest fear haha. So i sat through the whole movie blubbering like a baby. I had a soakin wet shirt collar by the end of the movie lol. But seriously, it was SUCH a good movie, I'd recommend it to everyone who wants to see it. Just be sure you bring about 6 or 7 boxes of tissue because you'll need it!!!
But as i said earlier... Starting this sunday, I will no longer be with the cute Sunbeams :(, but i will be teaching the 11/12 year old girls! I'm Really excited!! BUT.. I am also SO terrified! I'm so scared that i won't be able to teach them what they need to know. I'm scared they will know more that I do! I hope they don't come to and ask me questions and me not know it. I hope that I can teach them everything and more than I am expected to. Wish Me Luck!
