Whats new

Lets see... what's new lately? Well, our house is sold. We close on Friday. I'm feeling... good...yet sad about it. Bittersweet i suppose! It was our FIRST house! Come on, how can you not be sad to leave your first home? And it was a mighty fine first home. I really REALLY loved it. I hope the new people realize just what a goody house they are getting *Siiiiigh*. But it was meant to be! And we will move on and make new memories in a new place. In the meantime we are staying with my in-laws who are SO nice to let us stay here. I think they will be ready to kick us out soon when they realize how messy i am... if they don't already realize that :). OH, did i mention Deacon is walking? It was just out of the blue one evening, just up and walked around the whole house and hasn't stopped since. It's QUITE adorable. I just want to set him down everywhere I go to show off his new TRICK. Deacon is so precious lately. The other night while laying on the couch watching Triple D, (diners drive-ins & dives) Deacon kept walking around the room, then every once in a while coming and laying his head on my chest for a cuddle, then moving on. I let it go on way past his bedtime because it was so cute. He also comes up to me while I'm on the computer and wants me to let him sit on my lap so he can watch what i'm looking at. Every once in a while he will look up at my face and smile like he's just read something funny and checking to see if I got the joke too. Ugh! That Baby! He gets me everytime!!

I can dream, right?

If I could have a PERFECT day, this is what I'd do..

Dusty would have the day off, and when Deacon woke up at his usual 7:15-ish, Dusty would get up with him and feed him breakfast while I lingered in bed and took my time getting up. I'd get up and have the best hair/make-up day EVER. Then I'd go to breakfast with my sister. We'd go somewhere really delicious and have so much fun talking and laughing and dreaming of the baby girl in her tummy. Then we'd head to TJ MAXX where i saw these two black and white striped euro pillows that i want. They'd of course be on CLEARANCE and i'd SNATCH them up. Then i'd come back home and smooch my boys before i headed to Madison Nails and Spa and finally used the gift certificate my brother in law got me for CHRISTMAS. Most likely i'd get a pedicure. Head home again and perhaps put Deacon down for a nap with me and cuddle in bed for a while. Then when we woke up, we'd grab a quick bite to eat and the three of us would go for a drive to nowhere in particular, just drive. I love that. Maybe we'd stop and get some ice cream or something, I'm not sure ;). Then i'd want to go to Bridgestreet. We'd find crazy deals on all our favorite things, then we'd slip into the photobooth and put the strips of pictures on the fridge when we got home. At home, 27 Dresses would be on tv and we'd snuggle up with the fan on high and a cozy freshly washed blanket and eat Crickets hot wings while watching it. (Dusty would miraculously enjoy watching a chick click too hehe).  We'd play with Deacon for a while, reading him stories and tickling his collar bone (thats his sweet spot)  then we'd rock him to sleep.
Sounds good, right? aaahh yes.
