They Smelled like my School Lunch.

Today, two men walked in to see our production manager. I couldn't help but smell them, and strangely, they smelled exactly like my lunch box of food from elementary school. The smell was SO distinct! I immediately pictured my Lisa Frank lunch box.. with a Peanut butter, jelly, and banana sandwich... chips.. and a capri sun. MAYBE a pudding pack too. Sometimes for a snack.. my mom would also include a cored apple stuffed with peanut buter. All the kids were jealous of it and wanted to share. Which made me also remember... the Lunch Notes. My mom always put a small.. simple sticky note in my lunch with a sweet love note written on it. At the time, i was always embarressed of the note and would read them really quickly and stuff them in my pocket, fearing someone would see and make fun of me. It isn't until now that I am older that I can recall them SO fondly. I've kept MANY of the notes and they are hidden in my "Shoebox-o-memories", and I truly treasure them. Thanks for the sweet love notes in my lunch box, mom :)... I love them.

Listening

Today while cleaning my home I am listening to hymns sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. it is beautiful. I absolutely Love listening to hymns...I always feel the Spirit in my home while playing them. My absolute all time Favorite hymn is The Spirit of God. I can NOT listen to this song without tearing up a little bit. What a beautiful song, I have always been fond of it, but honestly, who doesn't love this song? :)

Pledge to be Veg!

Upon reading tons of websites about Vegetarianism, I am going to Pledge to be Veg for 30 days! (at least) I hope to help my body feel better and healthier and I'm excited to get started. After reading those darn PETA sites...my heart is BROKEN in to a million shattered peices for animal cruelty and I've always felt strongly about it. But the site basically says that by eating meat, I am 'supporting animal cruelty' and believe me.. those animals are treated c.r.u.e.l.y! So here starts a new healthier me!

I don't mean to offend anyone... Just documenting the change of my eating habits :)
