Short Interview with Dusty Hess

I decided to do a short survey for my dear husband the other evening and i kept forgetting to post it on here haha. So here ya go, Enjoy a new husbands answers to my questions :)

Me: So Dusty, How Old are you?

Dusty: "22..."

Me: Tell me, What is your Favorite part about being married?

Dusty: "Ummm, Theres so many parts I can't pick one?"..(nice answer dusty.)

Me: How long after we dated did you just Know that you were totally in LOVE with me??

Dusty:" I don't rememeber.... immediately?" (again, just giving nice answers so i won't cry haha)

Me: On a scale from one to ten, how much do you love me now?!

Dusty: "10!.... and a half!"

Me: Okay then, on a scale from one to ten, how much do you LOVE Ellie Mae?

Dusty: " That depends...sometimes it's a one, other times it can be a 3.." (how sad!)

Me: Where do you see us in five years from right now?

Dusty: "Still married, Millionares (i wish), with Ellie, and a kid or 4" (say what?)

Me: Describe your PERFECT day!

Dusty: "Sleeping in until noon, get up and you scratch my back, Watch a cowboys game, go to dinner and a movie with my wifey!" (sounds good to me! except the foozball)

Me: Speaking of the Dallas Cowboys, what do you love more? Them, or me?

Dusty: "You!" (this is a lie!)

Me: How many hours do you work in a week?

Dusty: "Here lately.. about 60 to 72 hours" (that sucks.. :( ..)

Me: How many kids do you want!?

Dusty: "two." (ditto!)

Me: What is your FAVORITE meal that I cook?

Dusty: "You cook?? No, seriously, Stuffed Chicken Parmesan!" (ha. ha..)

Me: Whose car do you like better? Mine or Yours?

Dusty: "Mine. Truck all the way!!"

haha, so there ya have it! My husband in a nutshell :)

Parker Baby!

Sunday I got to watch my nephew, Parker for a couple hours while Mandi taught her class. It was really fun and we had a good time :). Thanks Mandi for letting me watch him! I love him! Notice Parker slyly pointing at ellie outside. She would NOT stop jumping up on parker so i put her outside where she whined and howled and whined some more. the louder she whined, parker would look at me and smile like "haha, GOOD she's out there and not in here licking my face!" hahaha. he's such a cutie!

Future Daddy in the Making!

Today on my lnuch break me and dusty let Ellie out to run around in the backyard. Right before I had to leave we called Ellie inside and she had mud ALL over her paws! Dusty then took Ellie upstairs to give her a bath :). I snuck up there to take a picture haha. Which isn't a good one. And i promise Dusty isn't naked lol. He just didn't have a shirt on.



And he isn't choking her, just holdin her down to scrub those paws!

Happy Early Birthday to Me!

So, my birthday really isn't for another week or so but Dusty surprised me with an early present!

Yay! I wanted one so bad!! It has this really cool webcam on it where you can take videos of yourself and it will make them look silly.... haha. I tried to upload a funy video but it was taking like FOREVER haha. I'll have to another time cause it cracks me up!!

How long did you date? a little over 3 years
How old is he? He's 22!
Who eats more? This is sad, ME haha. Dusty is stick skinny
Who said "I love you" first? Actually, I did!
Who is taller? we're about the same height :)
Who sings better? i love singing, but to be honest, neither of us can sing haha
Who is smarter? Um, i'd say we're pretty equal in the smarts department haha
Who does the laundry? Hah! That would be me.
Who does the dishes? Me again
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Um, I guess it depends on what way ur looking at the bed what side it is lol. If u're looking straight at it... we both like to sleep on the left side. Whoever has to get up the earliest in hte morning gets to sleep on the left side lol.
Who pays the bills? Du$ty haha
Who mows the lawn? So far Dusty is the only one who has mowed our lawn, but i wouldn't mind helping!
Who cooks dinner? We both do,Dusty grills and i more bake and stuff.
Who is more stubborn? Ugh, me
Who kissed who first? Dusty kissed me first!
Who asked who out? haha, the first time Dusty asked me out I said no...but then right before high school started after confessing my love for him haha, we starting "going out".
Who is more sensitive? I think we both are.
Who has more friends? Um, probably me just because i've lived here most of my life and Dusty moved here after high school so.. ya know
Who has more siblings? Dusty!
Who wears the pants in the relationship? haha, Uh.. I guess its too soon in our marriage-hood for there to be a battle for that title yet haha. So i'm gonna say Dust ;)

New Fence!!

As a Christmas present, Dusty's mom and dad were very generous to help us get a brand spankin new Fence!! How awesome, right?! Ellie LOVES to have a fence finally! She actually loves it a little bit too much.....

I caught her red handed, literally, digging holes in the back yard. Bad Girl!

Rare Footage!

With all of the horrible, nasty, careless, mean things my dog Ellie does around the house. She is surprisingly a quiet dog. She RARELY barks. If she does bark it is a muffled little "ruh" is what it sounds like. I always wished she did bark more, because it's almost like hearing your child speak or something haha. So, the only time she does let out any kind of bark is if A. she seems people walking outside of the window. B. The doorbell rings. and C. If i'm vacuuming haha. Last night there just so happen to be TONS of woodchips from outside all over the carpet by the side door so I was about to vacuum them and Ellie was going Nuts.. HOWLING! So i whipped out my camera and tried to get her to continue lol... It was a success! So, totally enjoy listening to my puppy howl haha, because it is so rare for her to haha. I just love it when she does! :) It sounds to me, like it Ellie were a Human she'd have a deep manly voice. Kinda like a smokers raspy voice. Thats what I think....
