Proud to Present...

Our new puppy, Gus!

Ain't he a sweetie? So far Gus-gus is such a good boy! He always pees and goes #2 outside when we let him out. The first night he woke up at around 3 am and thought it was playtime and i was tired haha... but last night he slept in until about 5.. went out to pee.. then slept til 6:30. So good boy! Ellie was alot worse than that when she first came to our house haha.
Maybe Dusty didn't know he'd be in the picture haha
Look how precious... Gus fell asleep like a baby in my lap. When he sleeps he opens his mouth up and his tongue always pops out hahaha.
isn't that cute?
I think he'll cure my baby fever.. for now! :)

Its Christmas Tiiiime.... in Madtown!

I just love Christmas time. I love putting up the Christmas tree! This year me and Dusty put up the tree(... I mean.. Dusty put up the tree, while I decorated it) the day after Thanksgiving. The sooner the tree is up, The better I say!

This is our NEW tree that my ever so kind MIL got for us.. isn't it lovely. I just loved decorating it this year!!
Today while i was sitting typing nonsense on my laptop and being super bored at work.. My dad popped into the office and brought gifts!!!

First was these 2 bags of Amish Friendship Bread... Its really neat, U just like mash the bag everyday for 10 days or so and it turns into a yummy bread. It smells realy yummy and yeasty.. My fav :) Also he came with this box.....

Hmmm what could be in this Christmas tin?

OH BABY! Only my most FAVORITE Christmas cookie ever! Yes.. my dad MADE those. They are awesome looking aren't they? They taste WONDERFUL! Thanks so much dad! :)

Trying not to lose my Cool.

I really have to try not to lose my cool at work. We get some of the whackiest people calling it seems. I get calls about everyday where Someone annoys me enough to where i just transfer them to someone else. Heres an example of a woman who called me this morning....

Me: Good Morning, Adams Homes!
Lady: Yes hi, um, My name is So-and-So, can I talk to Sharna please?
Me: Sharna is actually out of the office today would u like to leave her a voicemail?
Lady: *long pause* Well, i Have a closing next week on the 12th!
Me: Ok.. well Sharna is the only one here who handles that im sorry...
Lady: You have got to be kidding me. There has GOT to be someone there.
Me: Nope there really isn't, If u want to leave her a message.. I can leave it---
Lady: *interuppting me haha* WHAT IF SHARNA DIED?? THEN who would take my call!?
Me: That is an awful thing to say...
Lady: No it isn't mam. Death is INEVITABLE!!
Me: Ok well let me find someone to take your call. *CLICK!*

I ended up putting her straight to Sharna's voicemail. Haha, but did anyone find her incredibly uncalled for?? Cause i sure did. haha. The longer i work here, The THINNER my patience wears. UGH!

I've been reading..

Blogs today. Different blongs from different people. Oh how interesting i find it. One particular blog that has jumped out at me... I can't stop reading. It is such a beautifully sad webpage and i can't help but read and read and read. Something this woman said...
"Live each day, every single day, with the understanding that one does not necessarily lead into the other. Hug your family. Tight. Put aside What Does Not Matter. Tomorrow could be a completely new kind of normal.."
How true that is. I hope i never have to realize this principle the way this woman did, But i'm grateful for my family. And i'm grateful that i am so very much aware that today could be our last day. I love living my life trying to do everything i can that i feel needs to be done or said.Today. I feel so strongly about it. On that note.. I am so grateful for my family today..
