Headed to Utah

Dear Self: I know you are nervous cause it's 3am and you can't sleep because your tummy hurts knowing you have to FLY today. But its ok.. people fly all the time! Stay CALM... P L E A S E!
Dear Deacon: PLEASE be good on the plane for mommy today??
Dear other plane passengers: If you know whats good for you- please do not get airsick. I've got one freakish fear of someone getting airsick near me so.. please.. please... don't. ok?
Dear Jessi: How am I going to go 12 days without seeing you? I'll miss you. Please don't have your baby until I get back ok? Promise? Ok. :)
Dear Grandma: I passed Applebees the other day and remember when you took me a couple winters ago to eat dinner there and then go shopping OUTSIDE at bridgestreet. It was cold. I accidentally spilled your ice water all over your entire outfit and you only said "It's ok dear" and trudged through the mall with me and your wet little clothes. I love you for that.
Dear Angie: Thanks for getting our tickets together to send us to Utah. You arent going to want us back once you remember how peaceful and CLEAN your house was before we showed up :)

Grandma June

As much as I would like to put off this post, i reckon I shouldn't. My grandma June passed away last week. She had been sick for a while with cancer and I know she is in such a better place now with her husband. Before she passed away she had told me that when she died, she would be with God and would watch down on us girls... I know that she is. Grandma June and me had alot in common I like to think. We had the same taste in alot of things and I truly valued her opinion. We both shared a love of antiques and old-fashioned things. Grandma was always honest and always kind.  She wouldn't dare intentionally hurt someone, and I can definitely learn from her to be kind to others. I think it was rare for someone to not get along with her, and I hope to be a nice person like that too. Grandma said often how important family was to her and i remember in her last weeks saying "If you don't have family around.. what Do you have?". Deacon will not remember her but I hope that through stories and pictures he can know her. She loved Deacon so much and would do anything for him. I will never forget my grandma june, and i feel happy knowing she is watching over me. I love you and miss you, grandma juney..

Bring on the Botox

Sometimes you need to just write, just to write. Just to purge your feelings so they are all typed out instead of swimming around your head all night keeping you awake, you know? Tomorrow Dusty goes back to the Headache Dr to get Botox injections for his migraines. We've heard really great things about how it has helped people with debilitating migraines so, our fingers are crossed. tight. A very sweet woman in our old ward who is also a migraine sufferer went so out of her way to help us today and I am still thinking about her generosity and how I can ever really say 'Thank You' for just being so kind and caring. Our Realtor, regarding a home on MLS that i really liked and had emailed that i wanted to see a couple days ago, informed me that the house sold already. I was totally bummed out. Boo. Yesterday I got to feel my sister in laws baby kick. Does feeling a baby kick ever get old? I think not. It's miraculous! Deacon was up late tonight with a really runny nose, i was constantly wiping his snot before it ran into his mouth, gross. He kept giving me kisses though, wiping snot all over my face in the process, but i welcomed it because he was so dang sweet and i love him so dang much. Me and Dust went and saw Harry Potter friday and of course, i loved it. I'm SUCH a Harry fan but i must admit i haven't read the 7th book. I swear i'm not a poser harry potter fan haha, just never got around to it. So i was sort of surprised by the ending, which i liked. MAN. I loved the movie. LOVED. As SOON as it was over, i was ready to see it again.
