Sunday.

I'm still in love with my Mother in Laws camera, so until i have to give it back (i'm putting that off haha) I just keep taking random pics, hoping they will turn out good haha. Here are some of my Sunday morning doings in the kitchen..

I just love this cake stand I got from one of my bridal showers. I love to put every single thing i bake in it.

This morning, I made orange sweet rolls (from the tube..). I have such wonderful memories of these rolls from my childhood. Every sleepover i ever had basically, my mom would whip these out for breakfast the next morning. I always loved them, and they remind me of my mom.

Yesterday me and Dusty went out to buy a frame and cork to make a big cork board for our kitchen wall and had leftover cork. So i made this little recipe card holder by my stove. I like it! By the way, my sister in law Mandi made the cute vinyl lettering for my canisters!

p.s. Can anyone tell me how to avoid that grainy look on the photos?

Whats Goin on?

Nothing new and exciting goin on here. Just thought I'd take a moment to write what's been goin on in the life of ME lately.
Last weekend I got the rare opportunity to spend the day with my mom. We had a really really great day. We started off at the Parkway Mall where we found a few treasures. Then we went to lunch (moms treat!) at Red Lobster, where our favorite German waiter, Peter, served us :). It was a delicious lunch. We continued on to TJ Maxx on airport road and found lots of nice goodies there. My mom bought me an adorable navy blue dress that i got numerous compliments on at Church the following day haha, Thanks mom! The day was great, and i'm sad i don't have alot of pictures from it!
Lately me and the hubs have been taking the Temple Prep classes and we are thrilled. We've only had two but after each one, we leave the families house giddy and excited. We can't wait to soak up all the information and advice the families have for us :) We love it.
My calling in YW is going great as well. I got the new calling as the Assistant camp Director, so that is really exciting. I've been wanting to go to girls camp as soon as i got my YW calling haha. I sure love Girls Camp and the Spirit that resides there.
The pups are doing great. Gus is such a good doggy and is sleeping so good. Hes ADORABLE. totally love him. Missy Ellie sometimes gets upset with him when shes begging for food and he wants to play.. she'll basically attack him. Or jump up and steal the food right off of my plate because she feels threatened that he will if she doesn't. She is insane haha. Has Gus cured my baby fever? That would be a.. NO :)

Happy New Year!

A little late! We rang in the New Year with a traditional party at my house. The Sparkling cider was plentiful and the Spinach Artichoke Dip was devoured! Every year (for the past 3 years now), we girls get together at my house, write down our resolutions, put them in a box we decorated... and we read our last years resolutions and laugh and reminisce over them. It's always fun to see what we hoped to accomplish that year. Another tradition is getting a girls pic of us with our Cider....

And of course a silly one...

Please don't judge me! haha
So, turns out, SOMEbody got a hold of my camera and took some sneaky behind my back pictures..... Can you believe these two??
This one ESPECIALLY cracks me up. hahahahah.
And would you look at these two love birds below? How sweet, they were napping like that. ha!
