6 Months

At 6 Months....

~Favorite baby food is Peas.

~Wears mostly 9-12 month clothing

~Loves to be tossed in the air.

~Still no rolling over, we're going to move past it.

~Sits up really well!

~Weighs just over 20 lbs

~Favorite toy in the world? -a coke can.

~Still gets told he looks exactly like his Daddy, but i think sometimes looks like me :)

A Nap, a Swing, and an Encounter.

There's nothing i love more than seeing my sweet whiney baby fall asleep on my husband's chest. MELT! By the way, when i say 'whiney' you have no idea. Deacon has learned this new little GIRLY whine. It's hilarious and high pitched and he does it for fun now just to hear himself. Oh Joy.

Like I had said earlier, Deacon loves to swing at the park....

Can't you just hear his curled lips saying "ooOOooh" AWW!

Then there was this encounter with Gus..it was mighty cute. Gus was all up in Deacon's face and before i yelled "GET DOWN GUS!" Deacon was so loving it, so I just let him.

A Walk

One of my favorite things to do when Dusty gets home is go for a walk. Deacon loves it too. Lately we've been going to the park and putting Deac in those little baby swings.. SO CUTE, he loves it. Here's just some pictures I took the other day on one of our walks..

I seriously love these big trees lining the streets in our neighborhood.

ALSO! At the entrance of my neighborhood there is a seriously giant EERY spider guarding the "Beautification Award" sign. I mean, if a spider is big enough to catch my eye from my car while driving into the neighborhood, you KNOW its big and scary. It looks like this.....

Thats pretty much actual size. All you other Park Meadow-ians... have you seen it!?!? It's on the entrance off Wal Triana. YIKES.

Lately

Lately I feel like i've got nothing new to blog about. But i guess thats good. That means nothing BAD's going on. Dusty is still healthy (thank Goodness). Deacon is still cute, I'm still sniffing his delicious baby breath all day. The newest thing going on in the Hess house is Deacon now sleeps upstairs in his own crib! Big step! I thought it'd be harder for me to move him up there, but its going really well. He's Such a good baby..

Today and webcam memories

I had a really fun day today. I didn't have any plans. Just the 'youj' of sitting around the house with Deacon and cleaning. My sister asked if I wanted to go out with her for a little while..any excuse to do my hair and put make-up on is always a good idea, so out we went. We had chinese for lunch and Jessi bought Deacy man lots of super cute clothes at Old Navy. He is going to be a STUD this fall/winter. I also made an appointment today to go to the Dentist and i was really surprised they could see me tomorrow! This is kind of a big deal since I havn't been in WAY too long. So that should be fun, I kinda love the dentist. I was also looking through my web cam pictures..starting with deacon being 4 weeks old and thought some were cute...

I just LOVE uploading all of my phone pics and looking at them. Most of the time they are bizarre and I question why I took teh picture in the first place. But it's fun to look at them all....

This was funny too. I had him on a playmat and was sliding it into the kitchen with him on it thinking it'd be fun. As soon as I stopped he screamed in fear haha. Poor Baby.
