Things you should know about me when it comes to the kitchen/food:
1. I love aprons. The more colorful and frilly, the better.
2. I love all food but There is only
ONE dreadful food on earth i don't eat and that is the satanic
BLACK OLIVE *shutter*3. I feel more accomplished if I successfully make one of
my dads recipes, than anything else.
**rarely happens*****double accomplishment if Dusty-the-worlds-pickiest-eater approves***Have you ever been to foodgawker.com? Well you need to go. Especially if you love FOOD like i do. I literally spend hours at this site on my computer at work. There are FABULOUS looking posts of recipes with a PICTURE for your brain to get extra hungry. I like to type in whatever i'm craving at the top and see how other people make the dish.
I have really fond memories of cooking in the kitchen with my mom and dad. If you didn't know, my dad might be the best cook in the world (or he is to me at least). My mom might make the best mashed potatoes you'll ever be so lucky to taste. And for some reason, growing up in a house where we thrived around my parents wonderfully time consuming meals, I am a lousy cook. I've ruined lots of meals. Isn't that the saddest tragedy you've ever heard? So since i'm craving eggplant parmesan tonight, I've convinced my Chef-Dad to make it thursday evening...Thanks dad...
I'm REALLY looking forward to it.
