On my mind

Just some thoughts today..

• I really miss Dusty. He's at the Mayo Clinic again in Minnesota. He'll be gone for like 2 weeks. I'm really missing him and wishing I was there with him. Having a baby would make a 14 hour car drive just about impossible. I'm pretty much a sad sap at home without him. I'd say "I hope they can figure out whats wrong with him" but I don't want to get my hopes up and jinx it. So i won't say it.
• I REALLY need to go grocery shopping. Like holy moly I have no milk, no Sour Cream (i don't know about you but sour cream is a STAPLE in our home) OR dog food. Poor gus has had an empty bowl ALL day and i've just fed him human food. Bad Mommy.
• Me and my sister have been busy painting my kitchen cabinets...black. I'm kind of nervous. I jumped into it without a second thought and halfway through was starting to regret my choice with how time consuming it all is. We FINALLY finished painted everything black, and i think it looks good so far, its still hard to tell how it'll look sealed and all put back up though. I'll post pictures once its all finished!
• I'm watching 27 dresses. I think I could watch this movie back to back for days maybe weeks before i got tired of it. I love movies like that. That movie makes me realize that I really love the girl name TESS. But it sure wouldn't work with my last name. Tess Hess... uh no. Sad.
• Deacon is napping on the couch next to me and is starting to stir, he turns his head side to side and snorts and occasionally lets out a really loud fart and i laugh everytime.

This sweet chunk is 4 months old today! and he's aaallllllll mine!!

sometimes i think the LOVE is going to just explode from within me! i sure adore him.

Coincidence

I was lounging at the pool with my sister the other day when my mom texts me "What are you doin". So i sent her this picture and said "pool:)"....

(yes i've since repainted my toenails, yikes)

She then sent me this picture in response and said "Same butterfly?:)" ...

What a coincidence??!

Inspired

With Dusty not feeling any better as of recent. The supposed new miracle medicine failing, we are trying really hard to figure out the best medicines and options for Dusty. Another trip to Mayo is set in about 2 weeks. I'm so desperately hoping they'll help him this time around.

I can't really tell you how much this sweet video meant to us the other day...bringing me to tears everytime i watch it...

Would you please keep my little family in your prayers? It would be more than appreciated. We could really use them.

Summer Time

Excuse me while I get this out of the way first.....WHY does Shabby Apple have to have the cutest most adorable modest dresses ever, yet they are really expensive!? I really would like to order every single dress on there. Especially these 2 cuties....

I wished I could afford you both!

Look at Deacy having some tummy time on Daddy's chest. So freaking sweet.

*melt, melt melt!* There is nothing sweeter than a half naked baby. His skin is so silky soft and i could sniff his little hands every second of the day haha.

I always try to get good pictures while Dusty is watching some super important ESPN show or Nascar Race (*cough cough* NEVER IMPORTANT *cough*).

Did i ever mention that my sister moved back to Madison several months back? I was thrilled because i missed her alot while she was gone! I really love my sister. Here's why..

Because she is the Bomb auntie..

Because she is super selfless. I could give a hundred examples of times my sister gave up her time to do something for me.

She is hilarious. And we have the same sense of humor. She'd probably think this picture was as funny as i found it..

My sister is really good at make-up and has tons of it. She enjoys getting out of the house as much as me and is my go-to shopping buddy. She always lets me come hang at her house and watch tv and movies. We may or may not have colored in coloring books as of recent as well. She always has the best snacks and beverages and always has lots of Tosh.0 recorded to watch! She's my best friend and i sure love her!

This first picture has nothing to do with Anything lol..I just found it in my Last-moments-of-pregnancy files and found it funny/embarrassing...so there.

ANYWAY. back to the 4th. Dusty was so sweet and gave in to my "I wished we had S'mores" pestering..

He also parked his jeep in our side yard with blankets and pillows so we could relax in our yard and see Dublin's fireworks show..

Deacon enjoyed it thoroughly.

• never in my life have i anticipated/celebrated a bowel movement like i have when a slight bout of constipation hit my baby

Me and Dusty were trying to recover my long lost old cell phone, but couldn't unfortunately :(. I really loved that thing! But we DID recover all the old pictures on it which was fun to look at them....

I used to take pictures of my growing belly in my bathroom in the mornings to send to my sister while she lived in South Carolina. I remember this day thinking "I look REALLY pregnant today" lol... if only I knew...

When I came across this picture i said out loud AWWW. Then i said "Man look how dirty our bathroom used to be always" lol

I remember this day WELL. It was the day a woman at work asked... "Are you sure you aren't having twins??" I was crushed haha.

I also remember sending this picture to Dusty thinking I was hil.ar.i.ous.

Oh man did I love these shoes. I got them with Cinnamon at Payless one night for uber cheap and adored them. I think Gus or Ellie got a hold of them and they are no longer :( I'd do anything for them back! Waahh!

Haha. I always take a picture of myself if I think my hair looks good. Pathetic.

lol, I remember texting my mother in law with this picture "Is my sink supposed to do this!?"

I tried these shoes on at TJ Maxx once and sent the picture to my sister for approval before i snagged these babies.

And i suppose I felt the need to take a picture of my lunch one day? A hefty lunch i might add haha.
