My sister, Jessi had her baby!! I've been in Utah for the past two weeks and thank GOODNESS made it home just in time for my first niece to be born :). I honestly couldn't be more in love with this sweet little girl. She is beautiful, and looks so much like her mommy I think. She is perfect.

4 years.

This time 4 Years ago I had just left my wedding and was headed home with my new husband. I remember coming home and stuffing my face with the leftover strawberries from the reception. What a wonderful day. Today you might hear me say how I wished my dress was different, that I had chosen different colors (pink??!!), that I'd of picked a date not in steaming hot august, that I'd of done my hair & makeup different, etc. But one thing I wouldnt ever change...My groom. Life sure is tough as a grown up sometimes. And sometimes it's hard to remember the positive things in life. The BLESSINGS. This year of marriage didn't bring us good health, or good news. It didn't bring us what we hoped for or what we wanted. But it did bring us our baby's first steps, and the sound of his giggling and babbling. It brought us a new look on appreciation. I think this 4th year of marriage has humbled us and really opened our eyes so that we can truly feel so grateful for all the small things. And for that, I am glad. I love you dusty, and though trials may come, I know we will look back someday and be grateful for this experience. Im so happy we are in this t o g e t h e r. I love you. Happy anniversary.
